Custom Motorcycle Auxiliary Lights: Laser-Engraved Branding + White/Amber Dual Color — An OEM Case

Custom motorcycle auxiliary lights — with your own laser-engraved branding and a white/amber dual-color beam — are achievable at low MOQs through OEM programs from Foshan, China factories. This case study shows how MOTORCM turned one distributor’s request into a branded, export-ready auxiliary light: what changed in design and tooling, how long production took, and what the minimum order quantities were.

Not every order starts with a product page. This one started with a simple question from our customer: “Can you make our auxiliary light look like ours — and light the road the way our riders actually need?”

The answer was yes. The result is a custom motorcycle auxiliary light that carries the customer’s own brand, laser-engraved directly into the housing, and pairs everyday white output with a specially tuned amber mode — one pod, two personalities, built exactly to the buyer’s spec.

The brief: branding that stays, light that performs

Our customer came to us with two clear requirements that a standard off-the-shelf light could not meet:

  • Their logo, on the light. No stickers, no paper labels — a permanent laser-engraved brand mark on the front of the housing, so every unit on the road becomes a moving billboard for their brand.
  • A custom amber light, in addition to white. Beyond the standard white beam, they wanted a dedicated amber mode tuned for the riding conditions their market faces.

Why white and amber in one light?

White and amber do different jobs, and serious riders want both:

  • White light delivers maximum illumination for open roads and trails at night — full clarity when you need to see far ahead.
  • Amber light cuts through fog, rain, dust and haze far better than white. The warm tone reduces glare and reflection, which is exactly what riders need in monsoon season, on dusty off-road tracks, or in coastal fog.

By combining both modes in a single dual-lens pod, the customer’s product covers every riding condition — no second set of lights, no extra wiring, just one switch away from the right light for the weather.

How it’s built

This wasn’t a one-off modification of an existing product. The light was built from the ground up around the customer’s spec:

  • Dual-color LED system — white and amber emitters integrated into the same dual-lens housing, with separate color-coded leads for clean switching.
  • Laser-engraved branding — the customer’s logo is engraved into the housing itself. Unlike printed stickers, it can’t peel, fade or rub off, and it gives the product a premium, factory-grade finish.
  • Die-cast aluminum housing with heat-sink fins — efficient heat dissipation for long running hours and stable output.
  • Rugged sealed construction — a clear protective lens over chrome reflectors, secured by stainless screws, built for vibration and weather.
  • Complete mounting kit — adjustable U-bracket, bolts, washers and Allen key included, plus a thick 12V cable with stripped color-coded leads for simple installation.

From the QC line to the export carton

Customization doesn’t stop at the product. The whole supply chain was managed to make this order sell-ready:

  • 100% QC inspection — every unit is checked on the production line and marked as inspected before it enters the warehouse.
  • Custom retail-ready packaging — each light ships in a clean, printed retail box (LED MOTORCYCLE HEADLIGHT), ready to go straight onto a store shelf.
  • Export packing — sealed cartons, 50 pcs per carton, with stable stacking for long-haul shipping.
